Escola Casablanca

Escola Casablanca is a public center in Sant Boi de Llobregat that defines itself as a Learning Community. It provides early childhood and primary education, and organizes its learning around dialogue and effort. It offers cafeteria service, school transport, and extracurricular activities, using both Spanish and Catalan.

The center has a school library and participates in the seminar for the dynamization of school libraries in Sant Boi and Santa Coloma de Cervelló, which prepares reading recommendation guides for students. Among its activities are visits from authors — such as Anna Manso or Meritxell Martí — the participation of students in the Municipal Children's Council and in Ràdio Sant Boi programs, as well as outings and camps, such as those in El Clar del Bosc or Vilanova de Sau. Communication with families is channeled through the Dinantia platform, and the educational community has an AFA.

Its project includes interactive English groups, presented at the Learning Communities Day, and dialogical scientific meetings between families and teachers, an experience documented in an article published in the journal Humanities & Social Sciences Communications by Springer Nature.
