CPEIPS LUTHER KING SUR

Luther King School is a private center located in San Miguel de Abona that offers early childhood education, primary education, secondary education, and Bachillerato, in addition to providing a cafeteria service. In early childhood education, it supports students from 4 months to 5 years, guiding them in exploring their environment through curiosity, respect, autonomy, and collaboration. The primary stage, for ages 6 to 12, focuses on developing study habits, multilingual skills, and solid knowledge for secondary education. The latter delves into content and the development of critical and autonomous thinking, while Bachillerato connects learning with its application to society. The center also has a TVA Enclave Classroom that supports young people aged 16 to 21 in their transition to adulthood, working on communication, job training, and social integration.

Among its projects, the center offers the American Dual Diploma in collaboration with Academica Corporation, allowing students to obtain a dual high school diploma, both national and American, taught entirely in English and online. Its educational project is structured around five pillars: academic training, international projection, values education, sports and well-being, and personalization and support. Language learning is complemented with cultural experiences, and values education is inspired by the values promoted by Martin Luther King, in an environment of coexistence with families from different continents. Sports are practiced through daily physical exercise and specific projects focused on emotional health and affection, while tutoring is linked to guidance and support for students with diverse needs. Technology is integrated transversally as a support resource, with attention to its ethical and responsible use. The center complements its offerings with more than 30 extracurricular activities.
