Lazarillo De Tormes

CEIP Lazarillo de Tormes is a public center located in Salamanca that offers the Spanish curriculum. Its offerings include the first cycle of Early Childhood Education, with a mixed classroom for students aged 0 to 3 years, the second cycle of Early Childhood Education for children aged 3, 4, and 5 years, and the complete stages of Primary Education, organized into its three cycles. The center operates in Spanish and English and provides cafeteria and school transport services, as well as an early risers program.

The school develops various projects and activities throughout the year. Among them is the PROA+ program, which includes actions such as welcoming and training teachers, promoting a family school, cooperative learning, and reinforcement activities to improve educational success. It also has a TIC plan and the school radio Radio Lazarillo, where programs created by students are published. The center maintains several blogs and has a school garden, as well as a kiosk set up as a reading space to liven up recess.

Other initiatives included in its activities are the "Literary Neighborhoods" and participation in environmental projects such as "Patios por el clima," in collaboration with the City Council of Salamanca, which included planting plant species in the schoolyard.
