Escola Creu Alta

Escola Creu Alta is a public school in Sabadell that offers Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. Specifically, it provides the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (ages 3 to 6) and the Primary stage (ages 6 to 12), following the Spanish curriculum with Catalan and Spanish as working languages.

The center has a school cafeteria and an AMPA service. Among its spaces and facilities are a library, a playground, and a school garden, which students use as an educational resource: in Early Childhood, they observe and draw the fruit trees in the garden to follow the changes of the seasons. Robotics is also taught. Additionally, the center organizes extracurricular activities.

Throughout the school year, various activities and projects are developed. Fourth-grade students participate in the project Xerra que Xerra, an exchange with another school to practice the Catalan language. Early Childhood students go on a trip to the municipal gym in Sabadell, and sixth graders attend the sports days held annually in the city. The center also participates in the Jocs Florals Escolars de Catalunya, with poems created by fourth and sixth-grade students, and works on written expression and poetry around the celebration of Sant Jordi. Among the educational initiatives of the year is training in bullying prevention and the Equips per la Convivència in fifth grade.
