Escola Montessori

Escola Montessori is a public center for early childhood and primary education located in Rubí. It offers the first cycle of early childhood education (0-3), the second cycle of early childhood (3-6), and the primary stage (6-12), with Catalan and Spanish as languages. The center has a school cafeteria service and has a teaching team for the 2025/2026 academic year, as well as a parents' association (AFA).

Its educational project places students at the center of learning. Work is organized by projects and complemented with workshops, specific language and mathematics activities, and the integration of machinery into the daily life of the school. The center also has the COCOBE committee and has various dedicated spaces.

Throughout the year, numerous proposals and outings are developed. In the first year, students work on the project "Communication for Everyone: a Journey Through the History of Writing," which they share with families, and a writing project where they design and print their own stamps. In 5th grade, the human body project is carried out, with research on the body's systems and organs, and cooperative activities are conducted during physical education sessions. In 6th grade, problematic dictations that combine movement, language, and mathematics are proposed, and students from 2nd and 6th participate in the reading mentorship for Sant Jordi. In early childhood education, I3 takes a trip to CosmoCaixa around the day and night project, visiting the Bombolla Planetarium, experimenting with light and colors, and working with corn cobs; I4A observes spring with magnifying glasses and drawings; and I5A develops a project for caring for the school garden. The center also organizes reflection and awareness activities for 8M, with a banner contest, and 5th-grade students have visited the Escola d'Art i Disseny edRa in Rubí. Additionally, the school has received a visit from reporters from TV3, who shared their journalistic experience with the students.
