Fresno De Torote

La Casa de Niños de Fresno de Torote is a public educational center in the Community of Madrid that provides the first cycle of Early Childhood Education, aimed at children aged 0 to 3 years. As a Casa de Niños, its admission process is directed towards students who are entering this stage for the first time, as well as those requesting a change of center. The center offers a dining service.

The application submission period for admission for the 2026/2027 school year runs from March 11 to March 25, 2026. Applications can be submitted electronically through the virtual secretary or in person, a method reserved for cases where electronic submission is not possible. Among the mandatory documentation are the family book or the registration sheet of the minor children of the family unit; for unborn children, a medical certificate with the probable date of delivery; and, in the case of civil servants or self-employed individuals not registered in the Social Security system, the corresponding supporting documentation. Only one admission application can be submitted per student. The calendar establishes the provisional lists of admitted, waiting, and excluded students on May 11; a period for claims on May 12, 13, and 14; the definitive lists on June 5; enrollment formalization from June 11 to June 25; and an extraordinary admission period starting from July 1.

The center maintains a public attention schedule in the morning, from 8:30 to 9:30 hours, and in the afternoon, from 13:00 to 14:45 hours. It informs families about dining scholarships, the application period for which usually opens in June, and about assistance for students with specific educational support needs, scholarships from the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training aimed at those requiring certain educational supports and attention, including students with ASD and ADHD. Communications directed to families and legal guardians are published on the bulletin board and in the informational spaces of the center.
