Escola Rubió I Ors

Escola Rubió i Ors is a public educational center located in Reus, offering Early Childhood and Primary Education. Teaching is conducted in Catalan and Spanish. The center provides a school meal service and has a family association (AFA), and maintains a presence on social media. It also has its own school garden, where fourth-grade students leave the classroom each week to plant and care for various plants and vegetables.

The school works on thematic projects developed in different classrooms: cinema in third grade, the port in Early Childhood, bees in the five-year-old class, the city of Reus in first grade, and Modernism in sixth grade. In the artistic field, the center organizes the Premi Art, a project that has reached its fifth edition dedicated to scents, memory, and emotions, and celebrates World Art Day with immersive proposals, such as the fourth edition inspired by the creative universe of Gaudí and held at the Palau Bofarull in Reus.

Students also participate in activities outside the classroom, such as outings around Reus — including tours of Medieval Reus and visits to Casa Navàs — traditional games meetings with other schools in the city as part of Correllengua, and the celebration of Physical Education Day in the Street. Additionally, the center hosts visits and conducts workshops, such as one dedicated to vertebrate and invertebrate animals.
