Escola Carles Iii

Escola Carles III is a public center in La Ràpita that offers Early Childhood Education, with courses I3, I4, and I5, as well as Primary Education. The center presents itself with the motto "learn, live together, grow" and advocates for quality public schooling. It has an AFA and maintains a website with information directed at families regarding meal assistance, school material lists, school vouchers, and scholarships for students with specific educational needs, in addition to pre-registration procedures.

Among the activities offered by the center, Early Childhood Education students have participated in a tree planting event, where I5 students were accompanied by their sixth-grade reading mentors, and have celebrated Carnival with daily proposals and challenges. Also in Early Childhood, the I4 and I5 groups are introduced to robotics with the Tale Bot robot. The upper cycle works on robotics and computational thinking through programming, the microbit board, and 3D design, with fifth graders constructing and programming a Ferris wheel. The school also celebrates the Diada de Sant Jordi, with a representation of the legend by sixth-grade students, and International Women's Day, which in Early Childhood Education focuses on respect, equality, and freedom. Other mentioned activities include the Orígens festival, with workshops and outings around the municipality, and a trip to Foradada with fifth-grade students.
