Escola Antoni Tous - ZER Conca de Barberà

Escola Antoni Tous is a public school in Pira integrated into the ZER Conca de Barberà, a grouping of rural schools along with the Sagrat Cor, Sant Roc, and Valldemur centers. It offers early childhood education, both first cycle (0-3) and second cycle (3-6), and primary education (6-12), with Catalan as the vehicular language.

The educational project of the ZER is structured around several axes: the environment, understood as a space to know, root, appreciate, care for, and improve; the students, considered protagonists and engines of learning; the teaching team, which combines efforts to advance together; values, as the foundation of comprehensive education; and families, conceived as indispensable active agents.

The ZER develops its own transversal projects, including a radio project that acts as a thread connecting learning and gives voice to the students, and the project "Georeferenciem la Conca de Barberà fent teatre", linked to the Mostra de Teatre a l'Escola. Reading aloud activities and pedagogical outings, such as visits to a farm school, as well as cultural days in the different localities of the grouping, are also carried out.
