Escola Carrilet

Escola Carrilet is a public center in Palafrugell that provides early childhood and primary education. In the early childhood stage, levels from three to five years are worked on, and in primary, the courses from first to sixth.

The center has a school cafeteria service, about which information is published each year. To support educational activities, the school has Carrilet virtual, a virtual learning environment, and a website that includes the school calendar, information about materials and fees, and a section for teachers. There is also a parent association (AFA) at the center.

Throughout the year, Escola Carrilet develops various activities and projects of its own. The fourth-grade students participate in decorating the carrer de Sant Antoni de Palafrugell for the Flors i Violes festival, creating messages for each class and individually after a process of reflection and sharing ideas. In second grade, an interdisciplinary project originating from the language area is carried out, focused on creating a film titled "Dark Planet," which invites reflection on the effects of pollution on the planet. Additionally, the center commemorates the Day of Non-violence and Peace with a day where students create decorations and messages about peace, respect, and coexistence.
