Escola Òrrius

Escola Òrrius is a public center in Òrrius that provides early childhood education and primary education. Specifically, it offers the first cycle of early childhood education (0-3 years), the second cycle of early childhood education (3-6 years), and primary education (6-12 years). The vehicular and learning language is Catalan.

The center develops various learning situations and its own projects throughout the school year. In the initial cycle, a learning situation about traditional games is worked on, culminating in a scavenger hunt for the entire school. In the middle cycle, students participate in the project "The school magazine: Reporters Orriencs," where they research, interview, and select news of interest about the school and the town. In the upper cycle, a performing arts project is carried out within the Artistic Education area, accompanied by a teacher and theater pedagogue. Additionally, the center has an annual cross-cutting theme; in one course, this theme was dedicated to modernism, with a joint outing to Parc Güell for all students. There is also participation in a mathematical photography contest and in dance and music activities on stage.

The school has a digital magazine and maintains a family space, as well as a family association. It organizes school camps and celebrates activities such as the Sant Jordi Floral Games. The center is located in Òrrius and has nearby public transport on road BV 5106.
