Institut Escola Greda

Institut Escola Greda is a public center in Olot that provides early childhood education, primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). Its educational project revolves around inclusion, co-education, and equity, with students as the central focus, and works to support and train individuals in an inclusive and safe environment, develop each student's potential, and prepare them for a diverse, multilingual, and global world. The center is defined as welcoming, innovative in collaborative methodologies, with quality spaces, cohesive and transformative, open to diversity, and committed to emotional well-being.

Among its facilities, it has a school library and a weather and air pollution station that provides real-time data. It maintains a literary blog and has held a STEAM fair aimed at promoting science and technology. In the linguistic field, it participates in the language certification program of the Official School of Languages and is an Erasmus+ center, with teacher mobilities within the framework of this program, including a KA121 project developed in France. Additionally, it has signed a collaboration agreement with the municipalities of Sant Joan les Fonts and Sant Jaume de Llierca regarding the school library.
