Escola Sant Isidre - ZER La Coma

Escola Sant Isidre is a public center located in Montoliu de Lleida that is part of the ZER La Coma. It offers early childhood education (second cycle, ages 3 to 6) and primary education (ages 6 to 12).

The center organizes inter-level workshops that bring together students of different ages to share experiences and strengthen the bonds between the younger and older ones. Among the proposed activities are a cooking workshop, where recipes such as rice pudding or monstrous snacks are prepared; a magic workshop, where children seek information, practice tricks, and perform them in front of their classmates; and an artistic workshop focused on emotions, with techniques such as collage, watercolor, and markers. The school also celebrates spring and the Sant Jordi day with a flower workshop, crafts, a book exchange, the traditional book and rose stand, a reading space in the courtyard, and a recital of poems and riddles. In addition, students from different cycles prepare theatrical performances, and the early childhood education groups go on outings, such as the one to Corral del Neri in El Catllar.
