Institut Lacetània

Institut Lacetània is a public center in Manresa that offers compulsory secondary education (ESO), Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), and vocational training (FP), with medium and higher level training cycles, training and insertion programs (PFI), and a specialization course in Smart Manufacturing. The center publishes information on pre-registration, enrollment, and scholarships, and has a library and digital platforms such as iEduca, Moodle, and Workspace.

In the field of vocational training, it develops projects from the InnovaFP plan, including a Showcell robotic cell for Industry 4.0, a voice-controlled collaborative robotics solution, and an intelligent pharmaceutical warehouse with automatic stock management and voice interaction. Students from the Automation and Industrial Robotics, Industrial Mechatronics, and Electronic Maintenance cycles participate in these initiatives. Additionally, students from the Electronic Maintenance cycle have completed an assembly at the Fira de la Sal de Cardona.

The center participates in the Erasmus+ program with professional internship stays in Forlì (Italy) for vocational training students, and carries out the democratic memory project Manresa-Mauthausen, linked to the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the death of dictator Francisco Franco.
