Institut Del Ter

Institut del Ter is a public center located in Manlleu that provides Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO). It enrolls students from all courses of this stage, from first to fourth of ESO, and in its classrooms, Spanish, Catalan, and English are used. The center has nearby bus stops.

Among its initiatives, EcoTer stands out, a project focused on the environment and sustainability that involves responsible students whose work receives recognition. The institute also participates in external proposals, such as a values-based football tournament, and some of its students take the official Cambridge exams. Other activities include outings to learn about the surroundings, such as the one conducted with the Museu del Ter; the third ESO visit to the colònia Rusiñol to discover the history of this industrial site; and the Projecte Respira, which includes horseback riding sessions and a bicycle outing as a conclusion. Additionally, second-year students participate in the singing of Postal del Ter, and first-year students carry out readings in the courtyard and activities based on works like La crida del bosc.

The center organizes academic recognition and coexistence events with students and families, and accompanies the fourth ESO group in the closure of the stage with a final trip and graduation. The teaching team conducts cohesion days to learn about cultural heritage, and the end of the course is celebrated with recreational outings that include activities such as zip-lining, kayaking, or laser tag.
