Cuco

Cuco is a private preschool in Málaga specializing in children aged 0 to 3 years, with two centers: one in Teatinos and another in Cerrado de Calderón. It maintains an agreement with the Junta de Andalucía through which families can obtain a subsidy based on a series of parameters.

Its educational project is based on values and seeks the cognitive, psychomotor, emotional, and social development of children, with special attention to autonomy. In the classrooms for 0 to 1 year, it works with its own curricular project, while in the classrooms for 1 to 2 and 2 to 3, it uses the Escondites project, based on psychopedagogical currents such as emotional intelligence and neuroscience, and organized around the areas of personal identity, the environment, and languages. English is part of the center's training. A psychopedagogue maintains constant contact with the children, families, and educators to carry out continuous monitoring. The methodology is affective, playful, adapted to the rhythms and developmental changes of each child, active and open to family participation, and includes a parents' school.

Among its services are kitchen, dining room, playroom, and vacation school, as well as extended hours and extracurricular activities. Its facilities include a 120 m2 psychomotricity room, webcams in the classrooms, perimeter security doors, ball pit, soccer field, computer room, and playground.
