Litoral

I.E.S. Litoral is a public institute located in Málaga that offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), as well as vocational training (FP) at both intermediate and higher levels. Its vocational training offerings are centered around the Health Family. At the higher level, it offers programs in Diagnostic Imaging and Nuclear Medicine, Pathological Anatomy and Cytodiagnosis, Radiotherapy and Dosimetry, Dietetics and Orthoprothesis, and Support Products, several of which are available in DUAL mode. At the intermediate level, it provides training in Pharmacy and Parapharmacy, Emergency Health Services, and Nursing Care for adults, and also has a specialization course in Cell Cultures.

The center develops innovation and applied research projects in vocational training, as well as a specific extracurricular complementary training project funded by FSE+, and participates in the IMPULSO Y CALIDAD 2025 operation. It has a website where the educational community shares relevant information and where administrative procedures can be consulted.

Throughout the school year, activities such as Health Week are organized, during which students from Emergency Health Services create informative materials on how to act in the face of different disasters, as well as literary contests and celebrations like Peace Day. Instruction is provided in Spanish and English, and the institute offers school transportation and extracurricular activities.
