Rectora Adelaida De La Calle

CEIP Rectora Adelaida de la Calle is a public center for Early Childhood and Primary Education located in Málaga, in the Bailén-Miraflores district. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (3-6 years) and the stage of Primary Education (6-12 years). It is a bilingual center in Spanish and English.

Its educational proposal is structured around Project-Based Learning (PBL) and cooperative learning, with a communicative approach centered on the students. As a bilingual center, it participates in Erasmus+ programs and the Bilitrams Micro-network, aimed at promoting communicative skills in foreign languages. Additionally, it develops various projects and programs: the Shared Project (Open School), which coordinates the center's actions and culminates in a Cultural Week; the CIMA Project; Entrepreneurial Culture; Eco-school; Patrols (Green Patrol and Playground Games Patrol); Center Promoting Positive Coexistence; Micro-network for High Abilities; and Creative Innovation Projects. The school library, integrated into the BECREA program, is conceived as a space for educational mediation and meeting for the entire community, and organizes activities such as micro-theater during recess, BiblioTARDES, and theater with families. The center also has shared spaces for learning and playing.

Regarding complementary services, it offers morning classroom, school cafeteria, midday classroom, school transport, and extracurricular activities. It also develops a summer reinforcement program and a socio-educational care program in areas with social transformation needs. Its facilities include a library, sports hall, football field, gym, and playground.
