Carmen De Burgos

CEIP Carmen de Burgos is a public center for Early Childhood and Primary Education located in Málaga. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education, with levels for 3, 4, and 5 years old, and the Primary stage, from first to sixth grade. The school provides a cafeteria service, morning classes, and extracurricular activities. It publishes the lists of materials corresponding to each of these levels, as well as a specific list for the Music area, and has a downloadable informational brochure.

The center has an educational project and a center plan that address, among other issues, attention to diversity, the guidance and tutorial action plan, the coexistence plan, and the organization of school and extracurricular times. In terms of attention to diversity, the plan includes a specific classroom, the guidance team, therapeutic pedagogy, hearing and language, and social integration technical staff. The center also develops various educational plans and programs, including the TDE Project, the Reading and School Libraries Plan, the Occupational Health and Safety Plan, the Coexistence Plan, the Gender Equality Plan in Education, and the School Peace Space Project.

Among its activities, fifth-grade students participate in the School Chess League, in which the center achieved third place in the overall ranking.
