Santa Catalina

CEIP Santa Catalina is a public school in Majadahonda that offers Early Childhood Education and Primary Education. Its educational project is based on the values of self-esteem, equality, respect, and solidarity, which the school presents as the pillars of a good education.

The faculty consists of teachers of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education, foreign language teachers, specialists in Physical Education and Music Education, and Religion teachers, complemented by specialists in Hearing and Language, Therapeutic and Compensatory Pedagogy, as well as a counselor. The school also has auxiliary staff for early childhood and administrative personnel, along with a registered nurse who attends during school hours. The nursing service is maintained throughout the school year and is responsible for administering medication to students when necessary, always with family authorization and a copy of the medical prescription, following a protocol for action in case of accidents. The school provides a cafeteria service.

Communication with families is established through general informative meetings at the beginning of the school year, where dates by grade are detailed. The school's website contains useful information for families, such as the textbooks for each grade, and promotes the summer reading plan initiated by the Ministry of Education. It also publishes municipal activities aimed at young people, such as the summer youth program.
