San Carlos

CEIP San Carlos is a public school in the Community of Madrid, with a line 2, offering the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (ages 3, 4, and 5) and Primary Education from 1st to 6th grade. It is located in Madrid, in the Villaverde district. It is a Preferred School Center for students with TGD/TEA and has a Preferred Classroom. As a public center, it has an affiliated public IES where its students have reserved places to continue their Secondary Education studies, respecting the families' free choice of center.

Among its facilities are a library, cafeteria, and gym, and it conducts its activities in Spanish. The center informs families about the student admission process, enrollment, textbooks, and cafeteria scholarship applications, and organizes an open house. It also maintains a blog and publishes the monthly cafeteria menu.

In terms of programs and projects, the center participates in PROA+, the Erasmus+ program, DyTective, and the School Program for the Consumption of Fruits, Vegetables, and Milk. Additionally, it freely uses the digital content from the Smile and Learn platform on the school's tablets and mobile devices — also accessible from home with the Educamadrid account — in all educational areas and grades, with material adaptable to each child's needs. The center also adheres to the Regional Plan against Drugs of the Community of Madrid and has the anonymous mailbox provided in this plan. The center has teaching and non-teaching staff co-financed by the European Social Fund.
