Centro De Estudios Artisticos J. H. Newman

Colegio Internacional J.H. Newman is a private school located in the Vicálvaro district of Madrid. It offers early childhood education, with the first cycle (0-3 years) and second cycle (3-6), Primary, Secondary, Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), and vocational training (FP), the latter in Sports and Social Integration. Among its facilities and services are a library, cafeteria, chapel, and infirmary, as well as school transport, early bird service, extended hours, and extracurricular activities. The stages are taught in Spanish and English, within a multilingual program that not only focuses on language learning but also encompasses its culture.

The educational project of the center aims to foster personal growth in all its dimensions: rational, emotional, and critical. It is structured around several axes. The passion for beauty is manifested in proposals such as theater within school hours, introduction to design, exhibitions, cultural weeks, musical projects like the Newman choir, and the Arts Bachillerato. The international horizon includes agreements with schools and universities, Erasmus+ projects, and mobility activities across Europe and the United States. Openness to the world translates into social activities, personal entrepreneurship projects, the organization of a university fair, and the promotion of sports, physical activity, and leisure time. From the relationship between teacher and student arise initiatives such as the Science Club, the Current Affairs Observatory, and the week of arts and sciences.

The school has been recognized in the press for its students' results in the PAU, a fact that the center frames as a consequence of its daily work and not as an end in itself. The institution emphasizes that its main objective is to accompany each student in their integral human growth and help them develop their potential as a responsible person open to the world, regardless of whether they continue their education at university, in vocational training, or enter the labor market.
