San Simon Y San Judas

La Escuela Infantil San Simón y San Judas is a semi-private center, privately funded in agreement with the Community of Madrid, that caters to children aged 0 to 3 years. It is located in Orcasitas, in the Usera district, in the southern area of Madrid, next to Avenida de Andalucía and the M40. The center has six classrooms, two for each level, each with its own restrooms, a multipurpose room for psychomotor development, and a large outdoor playground with sand areas, swings, green spaces with trees, and a closed, padded area for babies. It has its own kitchen with a varied menu and promotes English as a second language.

The educational project aims for the comprehensive development of the students. The role of the educators is understood as support for families, who are considered the primary educators. The general schedule is from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. There is an extended morning schedule starting at 7:30 AM, with breakfast options from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM, and an afternoon schedule until 5:00 PM, with snack options from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM. There is also the possibility of leaving at 1:00 PM with lunch. Services include lunch, school transport, early risers, extended hours, and extracurricular activities. The facilities also include a computer room, and the center operates in Spanish and English.
