Sagrado Corazon

Sagrado Corazón Capuchinos is a semi-private school located in Madrid, in the Usera district. It offers early childhood education (first cycle, ages 0 to 3, and second cycle, ages 3 to 6), primary education (ages 6-12), compulsory secondary education (ages 12-16), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16-18). The school hours are continuous, from 8:25 AM to 2:40 PM. The center offers a bilingual program in English, with native conversation assistants, and has a nursing service.

In the secondary stage, the center has 12 classrooms and three lines per course. The methodology includes splits in different subjects, cooperative learning, laboratory practices, study trips at all levels, volunteer academic support, emotional intelligence, and a tutorial-pastoral plan in line with Franciscan ideals. Additionally, a mediation plan is developed for conflict management and resolution, along with the 4ºESO+Empresa program.

The center offers services such as a cafeteria with a daily menu, library service, extracurricular activities, school uniforms, and digital devices for the four years of ESO. It has digital platforms for communication with families (Alexia) and for managing procedures (Csc Online), as well as a guidance office and educational programs (DOYPE) and a family association (AFA). The facilities include classrooms for early childhood education and psychomotricity, classrooms for primary and secondary education (with drawing, music, and technology spaces), laboratories, a PT and TGD classroom, a medical office, a cafeteria with a kitchen, a library, a café, a chapel, and sports areas. The center also has a pastoral plan, participates in the regional anti-drug plan of the Community of Madrid, and organizes the 'Tardes Divertidas' program as an extracurricular activity.
