Pradolongo

IES Pradolongo is a public secondary school located in the Usera district of Madrid. It offers compulsory secondary education (ESO), with class hours from 8:00 to 14:30, and also includes Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), as well as the second year of the PDC program.

Among its projects, it develops the 4ºESO+EMPRESA program, which brings 4th-year ESO students closer to the business world as a complement to the curriculum. Additionally, it has begun to implement the Código Escuela 4.0 program, aimed at promoting computational thinking, programming, and robotics, with projects in subjects such as Technology and Physics and Chemistry. The center is also an examiner for the entrance tests to intermediate vocational training cycles and offers Erasmus+ mobility opportunities for its students.

The institute maintains a network of relationships with families through the educational community assembly, which includes parents, teachers, and the management team. A group of 2nd-year Humanities Bachillerato students won a third prize in the state phase of the Odisea contest.
