San Antonio

San Antonio is a private semi-concerted school with a Catholic ideology and Franciscan inspiration, whose governing body is the Province of Capuchins of Spain. It is located in the Tetuán district of Madrid and educates students in Early Childhood Education (0-3 and 3-6 years) and Primary Education (6-12 years), with one class per grade and an average of 21 students per classroom. Since its origins in 1948, the center has been oriented towards the children of its environment, with special attention to those in need, and it is currently an intercultural center, with students from 18 different nationalities.

The center defines itself as specialized in attention to diversity. In addition to regular classrooms, it has educational compensation classrooms in very small groups and dedicates half a day to Therapeutic Pedagogy for students with special educational needs. Its teaching staff consists of about twenty professionals. It participates in the "Educar para Ser" programs, focused on improving self-regulation, and DYTECTIVE, aimed at skills related to reading and writing, and uses the Dinantia platform for communication between the school, teachers, families, and students.

Its educational proposal is based on the principles of Christian humanism and personalized teaching. Enrollment is carried out under a semi-private educational agreement and is completely free of charge. The center teaches in Spanish and offers a cafeteria service and extracurricular activities.
