Luis De Gongora

CEIPSO Luis de Góngora is a public school located in the Tetuán district of Madrid, offering Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Compulsory Secondary Education. It has a cafeteria service and a history of more than fifty years dedicated to teaching.

Among its own projects, the English language program stands out, which proposes a gradual approach to the language through the progressive increase of weekly sessions as students advance through grades, from two sessions in Early Childhood for 3-year-olds to five weekly sessions (one daily) throughout Primary Education. The project focuses on the development of communicative skills, prioritizing oral skills in the early years and expanding them in an integrated manner in subsequent years.

The school also develops a technological innovation project aimed at enhancing students' digital competence, implemented starting from the 2021-2022 school year and subsequently integrated into the digitalization strategy of the Community of Madrid. It includes working with tablets, using the Virtual Classroom, participating in the Digital Magazine and the School Radio of the center, and, starting from the 2023-2024 school year, educational robotics. The school is well connected by public transport, with the Peñagrande metro station (Line 7) and several bus lines nearby.
