Acuarela

Acuarela is a private preschool located in the northern area of Madrid and authorized by the Community of Madrid, with over thirty years of experience. It offers the first and second cycles of Early Childhood Education, for ages 0 to 6 years. Its hours are from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with various alternatives to adapt to family and work needs. It has a dining service, whose menus are prepared by the catering company Enasui with nutrition professionals and include adaptations.

The educational project is based on pedagogies such as Waldorf, Rebeca Wild, Pestalozzi, Malaguzzi, or Emmi Pikler, with the child as the protagonist of their learning, promoting autonomy and the discovery of the world through the senses in an environment of affection and security. The teaching of English is based on the natural process of language acquisition and aims to familiarize children with its sounds, musicality, and comprehension. The center defines itself as a school open to families, who can access the classroom to drop off and pick up their children, and organizes workshops for parents on different psycho-evolutionary stages, techniques, and resources for conflict resolution and handling situations in the family context. Communication with families is carried out through a digital agenda.

The facilities are spacious and bright, equipped and adapted to different ages, with a wide variety of playful and educational materials, and the center maintains cleanliness and disinfection of both the space and materials. In all classrooms, there is a team of two educators. Being authorized by the Community of Madrid, families can benefit from scholarships and aids for early childhood education; the center accepts childcare vouchers and applies a discount on monthly fees when there is more than one child enrolled in the same school year.
