Maria Moliner

CEIP María Moliner is a public center for Early Childhood and Primary Education in the Community of Madrid. Among its services, it offers a school cafeteria with published menus and information, as well as an AMPA with its own schedule. The center also provides information about its admission and enrollment processes, as well as the activities it develops and the textbooks used.

Among its own projects is 'Moliner en las Ondas', a school radio initiative. The center also works jointly on the Reading Plan, the library, and the school newspaper, with objectives such as enhancing reading comprehension, fostering interest in reading and writing, promoting the everyday use of the library for reading, research, consultation, and cooperative work activities, and encouraging collaboration among members of the educational community. It also has an ecological garden, integrated into the Network of ecological school gardens of the Madrid City Council, which collaborates in its maintenance and supplies seeds and seedlings; on Thursdays, weather permitting, the 'horticultural day' is celebrated, where students learn about the garden and participate in planting tasks. The center also hosts training for teachers from Madrid Capital.

The faculty consists of about 30 teachers, including tutors for Early Childhood and Primary Education and specialists in Music, Physical Education, English, Catholic Religion, Evangelical Religion, Therapeutic Pedagogy, Hearing and Language, and Guidance. The center has an Educational and Psychopedagogical Guidance Team that analyzes the needs of the students, identifies students with specific learning needs or high abilities, and advises educational teams and families, coordinating with the Head of Studies and the specialist teachers in Hearing and Language and Therapeutic Pedagogy.
