Carlos Iii

IES Carlos III is a public educational center in the Community of Madrid located in the San Blas-Canillejas district. It offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). In ESO, it provides a Curriculum Diversification Program and a section or program in English, with subjects taught in English for students in that section. French is offered as an optional second foreign language, and other optional subjects include Sports and Computer Science. The center has a virtual classroom within the EducaMadrid platform, access to the Comprehensive Educational Management System Raíces, and teaching departments with their corresponding programs.

Among its identity features are two programs: the arts Bachillerato and sports specialization, in line with its connection to sports and health. It also develops projects such as educational mediation, the equality project, a school garden, and BGMUN. The center participates in the Regional Plan against Drugs and offers academic and professional guidance through Orientaline, aimed at those who are still uncertain about their future. Its school hours extend from 8:15 to 15:20, with a reduced schedule on Fridays until 14:20. The secretary's office is open from Monday to Friday in the morning, and to be attended by the management team, it is necessary to make an appointment. It offers extracurricular activities.
