Trazos

Trazos is a private preschool for children aged 0 to 3 years located in the Salamanca district of Madrid, in the Fuente del Berro area, near O'Donnell and Doctor Esquerdo. It is defined as a small family where affection is the priority, creating an environment of trust, warmth, and security. Its educational project is based on Wagner's multiple intelligences pedagogy, Nelsen's positive discipline, and learning based on experimentation and meaningful learning, all from a playful perspective that seeks for children to learn through play and be happy.

It is a bilingual center (Spanish and English) affiliated with the BEDA program, with native or bilingual teachers present throughout the school day, which means continuous exposure to the language. The educational team consists of a psychopedagogue, early childhood education teachers, early childhood education technicians, and a bilingual English teacher. All staff receive ongoing training in areas such as psychomotricity, baby massage, positive discipline, project-based programming, and first aid.

Among its services and facilities are a cafeteria with its own kitchen and menus supervised by nutritionists, psychopedagogy (with a professional present in the classroom to guide and detect possible learning difficulties), daily pediatrics (with visits from a pediatrician to address inquiries and monitor the children's health), tutoring with teachers, extended hours daycare (from 7:30 to 9:00 and from 17:30 to 18:00), swimming classes starting at age 2 (Fridays at the Casco Antiguo Swimming School), library, school transport, early bird service, and extracurricular activities such as robotics (from age 4 with Rockbotic), Suzuki method (musical initiation and violin with the Estímulos musical pedagogical center), and Kids&Us (English). Additionally, it organizes the urban camp Trazos Kids Camp in collaboration with CEI El Jarama, for children in the second cycle of Early Childhood Education, in the first and/or second half of July, with three schedules from 7:30 to 17:00, including plastic activities, organized games, excursions, and swimming. The school offers discounts for families with more than one enrolled child and accepts payment through daycare tickets (Sodexo Pass, Accor Services, Cheque Gourmet). It also collaborates with local schools to guide families in choosing the school for later stages.
