Los Pinos

Los Pinos is a private preschool for children aged 0 to 3 years located in the Salamanca district of Madrid, next to the Fuente del Berro park. It was founded in 1970 and has since renovated and expanded its facilities. Among them, a 560 m² playground with views of the park stands out, and all classrooms are exterior.

The center provides Early Childhood Education for children aged 0 to 3 years with its own educational project based on various pedagogies: Montessori, Gardner, Waldorf, positive discipline, and learning based on experimentation and meaningful learning. Education is approached with care and in a climate of safety and trust, respecting each child's individuality, with activities that work on the five senses, psychomotricity, companionship, and coexistence. The school is affiliated with the BEDA KIDS program and has native or bilingual teachers present throughout the school day, in all routines and activities.

The team consists of more than 16 professionals, including a psychopedagogue, Early Childhood Education teachers, early childhood education technicians, and several native or bilingual English teachers. All staff undergo continuous training in areas such as psychomotricity, baby massage, positive discipline, project-based programming, and first aid.

Among its services are the dining room with its own kitchen, which prepares daily meals with fresh ingredients and menus advised by a nutritionist, and has an exclusive dining room and another for support; psychopedagogy, with a professional present in the classroom who guides and detects possible difficulties; weekly visits from a pediatrician; swimming classes from the age of 2; and tutoring with the teachers. It also offers extended hours for reconciliation, in the morning from 7:30 to 9:00 and in the afternoon from 17:30 to 18:30, with a playful and recreational character, as well as extracurricular activities and school transport service. A discount is applied to monthly fees when there is more than one child enrolled in the same course and payment is allowed through childcare vouchers, in addition to early childhood education scholarships from the Community of Madrid. It maintains agreements with subsidized schools in the Salamanca district and nearby neighborhoods.
