Guzmán El Bueno

Guzmán El Bueno School is a private center located in Madrid, in the Salamanca district. It offers 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years of compulsory secondary education (ESO) for adults, Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), and vocational training (FP).

Bachillerato is offered in 1st and 2nd year in the modalities of Sciences, Social Sciences, and Humanities, with daytime and evening shifts, as well as in blended and online formats. The ESO for adults (ESPA-ESPAD) is aimed at those over 18 who have left their studies or those over 16 with a work contract, allowing them to obtain the equivalent qualification to 4th of ESO in one year, either in-person or remotely. In vocational training, the center offers courses in the field of sports and physical activities: TSEAS, TSAF, and TEGU. TSEAS and TSAF can be completed in three years, or TSEAS together with CCAFyD in four years.

The center applies its own methodology, El Camino del Guzmán, which places the student at the center of learning and seeks to accompany them in their educational process with continuous contact with families. The maximum ratio per class is 20 students. The guidance work is carried out by a psychologist and counselor who works with both students and teachers and tutors, including emotional education. The school presents itself as a specialized center for the attention of students with ADHD and ADD, and also addresses situations of BPD, dyslexia, and giftedness. It collaborates with more than five specialized centers for adolescent issues and maintains personal interviews with each family. Regarding scholarships, it helps process state and Community of Madrid grants for vocational training, as well as the second chance scholarships from the Community of Madrid. Nearby public transport includes the metro stations of Prosperidad, Cruz del Rayo, and Alfonso XIII.
