Santa Maria Del Pilar

Santa María del Pilar is a semi-private school in Madrid, located in the Retiro district, belonging to the Marianist Schools network and of Catholic faith, inspired by the Marianist charism. It offers early childhood education (second cycle, ages 3 to 6), primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), with Spanish and English among its working languages and cafeteria service.

Its educational proposal is structured around the WE Itinerary, a project focused on education for the common good, encounter, and care for the earth, driven by the Marianist Schools network and aimed at students aged 3 to 18 and the entire educational community. It is designed as a path of progressive and experiential learning that encompasses all dimensions of each person, developed through curricular and extracurricular learning, pastoral action, spaces, communication, and the organization of the school.

The center has a team dedicated to education for solidarity, justice, and peace, established over fifteen years ago and composed of teachers from all three school stages, promoting these values within the educational community in coordination with the management, faculty, Marianist Action, and families. Linked to the school is a social security mutual fund as a complementary institution, sharing the Catholic faith of the Marianist Schools. Among the entities related to the center are its family association (AFA), the alumni association, a scouts group, the parish, and Marianist Action, and it has a language center and a sports center.
