Sagrada Familia De Urgel

Sagrada Familia De Urgel is a semi-private educational center located in the Vallecas neighborhood of Madrid. It is part of the Ana María Janer Educational Foundation, belonging to the Janeriana Family and born from the charisma of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Urgel. This charisma inspires the unique character of the school, focused on the integral promotion of the person, caring for relationships, and commitment to social transformation. The center offers early childhood education, primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18).

Its educational project aims for the integral development of students and fosters their autonomy, motivation, and meaningful learning, with the goal of helping each student reach their maximum potential in a globalized and changing world. It is structured around five pillars: Experts in Humanity, Christian Identity, International Projection, Educational Innovation, and Inclusive School. The coexistence plan develops the project "Experts in Humanity," with programs such as Student Helpers, Restorative Culture, Mediation, and Social Pastoral, aimed at forming individuals capable of coexisting with respect, empathy, and a sense of community. The pastoral care, inspired by the charisma of Ana María Janer, supports the spiritual and social dimension of students through celebrations, volunteering, and solidarity projects.

In the international sphere, the center offers bilingual education through the BEDA program in primary education and ESO, and holds Erasmus+ accreditation, allowing students to experience international opportunities from 5th grade to 1st year of Bachillerato. Among its complementary and voluntary services are the cafeteria, extended hours, and the psycho-pedagogical office, which seek to promote the overall well-being of students beyond the classroom. The educational team dedicates itself to supporting the growth of each student, helping them discover their talents and set goals.
