Nazaret

La Escuela Infantil Nazaret is a semi-private center in Madrid, located in the Puente de Vallecas district, providing early childhood education in its two cycles: the first cycle (from 0 to 3 years) and the second cycle (from 3 to 6 years), with Spanish as the language.

Its educational project aims for the integral development of students, fostering autonomy, motivation, and meaningful learning, with the goal that each student develops the tools, skills, and knowledge necessary to reach their maximum potential. This project is structured around four pillars: experiential education, Christian identity, healthy habits, and emotional intelligence. Experiential education places learning in direct experience, allowing children to explore, observe, and participate actively, enhancing their natural curiosity and emotional, social, and cognitive development. Christian identity is embodied in the pastoral care as one of the center's priorities, understood as part of integral education and as a transversal axis of service, work, and the educational model, with the involvement of the entire educational community and the cultivation of attitudes of compassion, empathy, tenderness, and solidarity. Healthy habits are promoted by encouraging balanced nutrition, physical activity, and limiting screen time, with family participation. Emotional intelligence is developed by teaching skills such as empathy and conflict resolution, to improve the ability to relate and face difficult situations.

The center is defined as an open space for all, without distinction of race, sex, religious beliefs, political ideas, social condition, or human qualities, with preference for those in greater need, and carries out its educational work in a home-like environment inspired by the Family of Nazareth. Its ownership corresponds to the Ana María Janer Educational Foundation. It offers services such as a school cafeteria, morning classroom (early risers), and guidance department, in addition to uniforms.
