Mesonero Romanos

The CPB Mesonero Romanos is a public center for Early Childhood and Primary Education located in the Puente de Vallecas district of Madrid. It offers the first cycle of Early Childhood Education (0-3 years), the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (3-6 years), and Primary Education (6-12 years). It has a bilingual project in Spanish and English and features a library and school cafeteria. It provides extracurricular and complementary activities, as well as a morning welcome program called Primeros del Cole. Additionally, it develops specific educational support in Therapeutic Pedagogy and Audition and Language, with a team of educational and psychopedagogical guidance.

In the pedagogical field, the center articulates its educational project around bilingual education, comprehensive physical and emotional health, and values education, with an inclusive and personalized approach that fosters teamwork and social skills. Among its plans and projects are attention to diversity, tutorial action, the center's digital plan, the academic performance improvement plan, and the regulation and norms of coexistence. It also carries out the ENRUTA2 project and participates in the innovation project Deslizar in collaboration with the Museo del Prado and the Basurama collective. It also has a school garden and collaborates with various entities to promote daily physical activity.
