Centro Cultural Pirineos

This is a semi-private secular school owned by a group of teachers and workers in a cooperative framework. Its educational project is defined as a democratic and non-elitist school, with a special interest in addressing the diversity of students. The center has a team of professionals who work together around a common project aimed at the comprehensive education of each student.

The educational offer is structured in a single line that covers from the second cycle of Early Childhood Education to the fourth year of Compulsory Secondary Education. The second cycle of Early Childhood Education serves students aged three to six, from 9:00 to 14:00, and aims to contribute to their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development. Primary Education, which is mandatory and consists of six courses, is directed at students aged six to twelve, also from 9:00 to 14:00. Compulsory Secondary Education, which completes basic education and consists of four courses, serves students aged twelve to sixteen from 8:10 to 14:10. In the afternoon, the center offers training for adults over eighteen, who can acquire, complete, or expand their knowledge and skills for personal and professional development.

Among its services are the cafeteria, with varied menus managed by a catering company and supervised by the Community of Madrid, the extended morning hours available every day of the school year from 8:00, and extracurricular activities designed to complement education and develop physical, intellectual, and artistic skills. The center also develops a linguistic immersion project in English, along with lines of work focused on addressing diversity and educational innovation, with strategies aimed at emotional intelligence and cooperative work as a tool for student autonomy.
