Sagrada Familia

Sagrada Familia School in Madrid is a semi-private bilingual educational center (Spanish and English) located in the Moratalaz neighborhood of Madrid. It is run by the Brothers of the Holy Family, an entity with a century-old tradition. Its educational project seeks the balanced development of human and Christian values in students, placing them at the center of learning to adopt an active and interactive role. The pedagogical approach is based on active methodologies, interiority, and emotional education, caring for the personal, social, intellectual, and spiritual dimensions of students.

The center offers early childhood education, primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), including the Arts modality, with a nursery that caters to ages from 0 to 18 years. It has more than 80 years of educational experience in Madrid and over 20 years of presence in the Moratalaz neighborhood. Currently, it enrolls 2000 students. It offers services such as a cafeteria with its own kitchen, a library, early drop-off (before-school care), and a sports complex with a swimming pool, in addition to extracurricular activities. Its hours extend from 8:00 to 17:15. It has nearby metro stations such as Artilleros, Pavones, and Valdebernardo.

The Educational Project of the center proposes to form individuals in their triple individual, social, and transcendent dimension, capable of building their personal project in a critical and responsible way, who trust in humanity and work for a society with fairer, more respectful, and fraternal relationships, embodying Christian values by collaborating for a more supportive and happy world. The educational community — religious community, teachers, administrative and service staff, students, families, collaborators, and alumni — shares the mission of providing quality education and proposing the ideal of Christian life. The Sa-Fa educational model, with its seven principles, places the student as the protagonist of the teaching-learning process.
