Gaia

La Escuela Infantil Gaia is a public first cycle center of Early Childhood Education, integrated into the direct management public network of early childhood schools in the Community of Madrid. It serves children from 0 to 3 years old in the Moratalaz district of Madrid, supporting their growth and development.

Its educational approach is based on an innovative methodology centered around spaces and materials. It prepares play environments with aesthetically and attractively arranged materials, where students can explore, manipulate, modify, and build freely. Among the impactful facilities used are 'White Balloons', 'Colored Bottles', 'Umbrellas and Rain Boots', 'Cottages', 'The Sea', 'Lights', a proposal with toilet paper, and 'Autumn', in addition to other facilities.

The center has spacious patios and outdoor areas designed to awaken the senses and adapt to the needs of children. The classrooms have direct access to the patios and adapted restrooms. It also has a kitchen, dining room, patio, playground, soccer field, and laboratory. Its hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the possibility of extended hours if justified by both parents' work. The center prepares and provides documents such as the educational project, the rules bulletin, the coexistence plan, the annual plan, the annual report, and the income and expenses budget project. It is located near the metro stations Artilleros, Pavones, and Valdebernardo.
