Among the school's initiatives stands out 'El Pucherito Leré', an extracurricular workshop organized by the AMPA that produces a bi-monthly newspaper with news and events from the center and its surroundings. Its objectives include learning to work in teams, writing, identifying reliable sources, and developing critical thinking. This workshop shares goals with the Reading Plan and the Library, such as promoting reading comprehension, interest in reading, everyday use of the library, and a reflective and critical attitude.
