La Casa Del Rio - Miriam

La Casa Del Rio - Miriam is a private early childhood education center in Madrid, in the Moncloa-Aravaca district. It offers the first cycle (0-3 years) and second cycle (3-6 years) of Early Childhood Education, in Spanish and English. The 0 to 3 years stage is organized into Baby Miriam (0-12 months), Miriam Jr. (1-2 years), and Miriam (2-3 years). It has a garden. It is close to public transport, with Lago and Moncloa metro stations. Its hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM; it is closed on weekends.

Miriam Jr. focuses on the transition from babies to children: expression of emotions, exploration of the body, voice and music, gestural communication, interest in objects and surroundings, visomotor coordination, primary colors, scribbles, listening to musical and literary texts, safety habits, hygiene, food, dressing, and rest, rules, body expression games, and autonomy. Miriam prepares for school and addresses emotional development, self-esteem, autonomy, social relationships, body control, exploration of the environment, care for nature, observation of weather, language, literary texts, number series, grouping, classification, order and quantification, graphs, artistic works, songs, dances, audiovisual media and technologies, attention habits, order, respect, initiative and collaboration, rules, and social and cultural activities.
