Greenleaves Montessori Ii

Greenleaves Montessori International School is a private international center located in Moncloa-Aravaca, Madrid. It is authorized as a foreign center by the Community of Madrid. It provides education from ages 0 to 18, covering Early Childhood Education (first and second cycle), Primary, ESO, and Baccalaureate. The center incorporates the International Baccalaureate through the PYP, MYP, and DP programs, and also offers BachiBac. Its educational project is based on Montessori pedagogy.

The school applies an individualized approach, with reduced ratios of between 8 and 14 students per teacher, aiming to maximize each student's potential and help them build their personal and academic project. It fosters an authentic multicultural environment, with students and teachers from over 30 nationalities, promoting respect for differences and global understanding. The teaching staff includes at least one native English-speaking teacher and one native Spanish-speaking teacher. Education seeks a balance between intellectual and emotional development.

The center has a bilingual program in Spanish and English based on the CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) methodology. This approach integrates the learning of curricular content with the language, using the 4Cs (content, communication, cognition, and culture) and scaffolding techniques. During the Montessori work cycles, thinking routines are employed to develop understanding. Additionally, it offers dining services, school transportation, and extracurricular activities.
