About the school
IES Ana Frank is a public secondary education institute in the Community of Madrid, located in the municipality of Madrid. It offers ESO education for students aged 12 to 16, in Spanish with English included in its curriculum. The center has a newly opened building, where it has celebrated its day dedicated to Anne Frank.
Throughout the school year, it develops complementary activities and its own projects. Among them, a school exchange in Germany, with stays in Celle and Hannover; a visit from 4th ESO students to the Planetarium of Madrid; an orientation race focused on healthy habits and nutrition; and the participation of 3rd ESO in the "Healthy Sexuality" program, linked to the Youth Center and the Municipal Community Health Centers of Madrid. The center also participates in AulaFilm, an initiative that brings cinema to the classroom, and organizes the Ana Frank Short Story Literary Contest. Its students have received recognition in a spring mathematics competition. Additionally, the institute has a Curriculum Diversification Program.
