About the school

Escuela Libre Allegra is a preschool located in Aravaca that serves children aged 0 to 6 years. Its pedagogical proposal is inspired by Montessori and Waldorf approaches, with a bilingual character. The educational project revolves around free play, understood as a way to acquire social skills and well-being, without directing the playtime. Contact with nature is encouraged through a garden, a vegetable patch, and animals that live at the school. Creativity and art are developed through activities such as watercolor painting, modeling with wax, and wood projects. The classrooms reinforce values such as warmth, affection, silence, patience, effort, and the integration of differences, adapting to each child's emotional maturity. Logical thinking and mathematics are approached from everyday life, without forcing learning.
