Minerva

CEI Minerva is a private early childhood education center located in Paterna. It offers the first cycle of Early Childhood Education (0-3 years) and the second cycle (3-6 years), with Spanish as the working language. Its classrooms are organized into groups named after animals: little bees, frogs, monkeys, and elephants. Among its facilities and services are a dining room, school transport, extracurricular activities, a computer room, a school garden, and a playground.

Throughout the school year, the center develops various projects and activities. It holds open house days to showcase its services, projects, and methodology to interested families. It organizes a week to promote reading, which includes workshops and activities with storytelling grandparents, and commemorates the European Day of Languages with games and activities. The elephant group carries out an experimentation project with traditional games suitable for their age, in which families participate. There are also outings to a farm school, weeks dedicated to professions with visits from professionals to the center, activities related to fallera traditions, and a day against gender violence that the center transforms into the Day of Hugs, focused on promoting non-violence. At Christmas, they receive a visit from the pages of Their Majesties from the East.

The center maintains a Family Area and publishes newsletters, news, and highlights to keep families informed, and has a section for alumni. Its admission process is governed by current regional regulations and is aimed at children who are entering the educational system for the first time.
