Santa Gema

Colegio Santa Gema Galgani is a bilingual semi-private school inspired by humanist values, located in the Latina district of Madrid. Its educational proposal is structured around four pillars: connection with reality, personal reflection, social interaction, and creative action. The educational project spans from 0 years to Bachillerato, including the stages of Early Childhood (first and second cycle), Primary, Secondary, and Bachillerato, aiming for each student to find meaning in their journey and face change.

In the early stages, the center offers Santa Gemita (1 and 2 years), where autonomy, early stimulation, and emotional management are developed through project-based learning, sensory workshops, play installations, neuromotor activities, and swimming from the age of two, with native English and music assistants. In Early Childhood Education (3 to 5 years), the methodology is based on play, observation, experimentation, and project-based learning, corner work, manipulative mathematics, and literacy, with attention to the affective-emotional area. In Primary, the focus is on essential competencies, critical thinking, oral and written expression, reading, and interdisciplinary projects in Spanish and English. In Secondary, the Personal Student Plan and the Learning Diary structure individualized monitoring, complemented by the Guidance Department and the Family School. In Bachillerato, each student has a mentor and conducts the Research Project.

The center has a swimming pool, library, sports hall, football field, athletics track, laboratory, computer room, auditorium, gym, cafeteria, school garden, chapel, playground, and children's park, and boasts 10,000 m² of sports facilities. It provides education in Spanish and English and offers school transport services, early morning hours, extended hours, as well as extracurricular activities.
