San Alberto Magno

Colegio San Alberto Magno, also known as Colegio SAM Madrid, is a private subsidized center located in the Latina district of Madrid. It offers early childhood education, primary education, and compulsory secondary education (ESO) in a subsidized regime, while Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18) is offered in a private modality. It is defined as a small, family-oriented, and close-knit center, and as a secular teaching cooperative, with secularism as a distinguishing feature of its way of working. Its priority is personal and daily interaction with students and the involvement of families in the life of the school.

Its educational project is structured around a bicultural education, which puts students in contact with the English language through immersion in Anglo-Saxon culture and daily practice of the language, without the need to take content in English. The center integrates technology and promotes creativity, critical reasoning, responsibility, and autonomy, placing students at the center of its activity. It respects the beliefs and convictions of students and families and seeks comprehensive training that develops their physical, intellectual, and emotional possibilities, as well as their social dimension. Its goal is to prepare students for higher studies and for the university entrance exam.

The center offers cafeteria service, school transportation, early riser hours, extracurricular activities, and a psycho-pedagogical office, and includes Spanish and English among its languages. It maintains collaboration with entities and with nursery schools affiliated with the center.
