Pompas

La Escuela Infantil Pompas is a private early childhood education center located in the Aluche neighborhood, in the Latina district of Madrid. It caters to children aged 0 to 3 years and is defined as a warm and cheerful space that views childhood with respect, calmness, and affection, with the intention of making every family feel at home. It is an authorized center.

Its educational approach is inspired by Waldorf, Montessori, Pikler, and Reggio Emilia pedagogies, and is grounded in a conscious and respectful education based on positive discipline. The project starts from the interests and curiosity of the little ones, with experiential and meaningful experiences; it emphasizes the bond and emotional security, listening to and validating emotions; it respects the rhythms and developmental moments of each child, also understanding mistakes as part of learning; and considers free play as their natural language. The team consists of teachers and educators with experience in the educational field. The facilities are organized by stages (0-1, 1-2, and 2-3 years) and include an entrance, bathroom, kitchen, and patio.

Among the center's activities are proposals for sensory education, art, psychomotricity, music and movement, as well as provocations with everyday and natural materials and proposals linked to the four seasons of the year. Music is present in daily life through songs, instruments, and rhythmic games. The center offers English as a first contact with the language in a natural and playful way, in addition to healthy food. The center's profile also includes lunch service, school transport, and extracurricular activities, with Spanish and English among the languages, from Monday to Friday from 7:00 to 17:00.
