Lourdes

Colegio Lourdes is a semi-private school in Madrid, located in the Latina district, offering early childhood education (first and second cycle), primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). It provides instruction in Spanish and English, has a school cafeteria, and offers extracurricular activities.

The school is part of FUHEM (Fundación Hogar del Empleado), an independent secular institution. Its educational project focuses on innovation, academic rigor, the integral development of the individual, and the promotion of values, aiming for students to develop their abilities, personal autonomy, and creativity, and to continue learning throughout life. The school is part of the PROA+ 25-26 program, co-financed by the European Union, the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports, European Funds, and the Education, Science and Universities Department of the Community of Madrid, and also participates in the Colegio Amigo del Teatro Real program.

Among its projects and activities are TEA classrooms and its participation in the TEA Network of the Latina district, initiatives related to the arts, music, historical memory, and environmental education, the School Fruit program, a bicycle loan service, and its own school magazine. The school also develops initiatives to prevent cyberbullying and a digital well-being program.
